The story so far

Almost 60 years on, yet still I find myself still searching for an answer to that very same question?

Originally from Manchester, I left the damp north of England behind me and exiled myself to the frozen north of Scandinavia , where I have remained these last 25 years.

I was always interested in writing, but the urge to do so slowly disappeared over time until the tragic events of 2013 overtook my life. Events that would be the catalyst to end a long writing hiatus.

My debut book, A Minger`s Tale-Beginnings del 1, eventually saw the light of day in March 2016.

A quirky story that portrays the working class life of an Irish family living in northern England during the 1960`s through to the mid 1980`s.

In 2015 I entered a short story to the prestigious Shelagh Delaney Writing Competition which was published in Salford Short Stories Anthology  that was released in 2016.

Halfway to Manchuria, the second book in the series is well underway and my hope is it will be finished and ready for release by the Autumn of 2019.

        Im glad you liked it.
If I ever get round to writing the remaining two books in this series, I’ll tell the full story of that day which is even funnier.

Strangely enough I still havent been invited back either 🙄
